 Matt Jones
Matt has lived a very diverse and exciting life. He is currently living much of his life as a successful abstract expressionist painter and hunger awareness activist. As founder of MashedPotatoes.org, Matt has been featured on King 5 News, Northwest Cable News, Q13, Conscious Talk Radio and over 30 local and national publications within the last year. Matt is known for throwing huge free monthly parties at Gasworks Gallery and delivering over 500,000 of potatoes to NW Harvest. Matt has traveled to over 70 countries, including 200 islands in the South Pacific and 8 Antarctic expeditions. Matt has lived life as an artist, entrepreneur, humanitarian, adventurer, photographer, corporate executive, writer and entertainer. Seattle Metropolitan Magazine recently listed Matt as one of “Seattle’s Most Eligible Singles”. Matt has an easygoing, fun-loving attitude and says he is probably best described as a goofball romantic. Matt says a good match for him would be a bright, friendly woman with an adventuresome spirit who is generous with her smiles and places a high importance on being extra thoughtful to children, animals and the elderly. Essentially, the bigger the heart, the better. |
 Michael Velair
Michael Velair is a northwest native who thinks Seattle is one of the greatest towns to live in the US. Of course, as an event and restaurant reviewer, Michael certainly has the inside edge. As Michael says, he’s the only guy gonzo enough to carry subscriptions to the opera, ballet, the symphony, and the 5th Ave theater, all at the same time! “Two of my favorite moments are when the curtains open at McCaw Hall, and when the airplane takes off into the wild blue.” Michael was named one of Emerald City’s most eligible bachelors a few years ago, and has been featured on Evening Magazine, Conscious Talk Radio, NW Active Single’s Life. On the flipside of writing, it turns out that Michael is a prolific reader, “Since I don’t own a TV, reading is primarily how I pass my down time.” For activity, it’s anything outside. “I’m a big fan of stair climbing, mostly along the China Harbor steps. Since I eat out frequently, working out like a banshee is the only way I can keep my girlish figure. I’m happy that I can still clear a 10 minute time every year in the Columbia Tower stair run.” And what does Michael like best? “The electricity of a kiss that sends a shiver down the spine and makes you weak in the knees.” |
 Benny Mathers
Born an Alaskan native, Benny is Pam and Rochelle’s on-air producer for their Chat With Women radio program on Seattle's Alternative Talk Station, AM 1150 KKNW in Seattle. Recently turned 30, Benny is venturing to find that certain “special” someone. Are you the one? Benny is a nationally recognized and award-winning radio show producer in the N.W. While Benny isn’t working, he enjoys basketball, darts (yes, he said darts), motorcycles and softball. Benny says and outgoing personality along with a warm heart is what a woman will truly do, to snag him. “Eyes are my weak point. A woman a simply stunning set of eyes, oh man, I’ll be lost in them forever.” Benny enjoys getting to know anyone and everyone. “I enjoy listening to people’s life stories, hard-ships, romances and where life might take them next.” Where do you think Benny might take you, well that’ll be up to him.
