Dr. Larry Greenblatt is a board-certified, family and sports medicine physician and the principal physician of Care Medical Associates of Bellevue, Washington. Care Medical Associates (CMA) is a retainer fee based practice located next to the Overlake Hospital Medical Center campus.

Before creating his unique office in 2003, Dr. Greenblatt practiced medicine in the Issaquah area for nearly 25 years, where he was distinguished as "Issaquah's Best Physician" for twelve of those years. He chose the Bellevue location in order to be more centrally located to his patients around the region.

He graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Psychology and went on to the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, where he earned his osteopathic medical degree. His internship brought him to Seattle in 1977 and he subsequently settled in Issaquah to begin his practice.

Currently, he is on the medical staff of Overlake Hospital and he continues to be an active leader in the Issaquah Community, including the Issaquah Rotary Club, where he is a past-president.

He has been an advisor to the Issaquah School District and chairman of its Sports Medicine Advisory Committee. Dr. Greenblatt is the team physician for Issaquah High School and continues to participate in educational programs for coaches and parents.

I can now address ALL the concerns and questions for each patient in a very comfortable setting as their healthcare advocate. It’s how healthcare should be.

He has also served as the medical advisor for the Washington State Special Olympics, as a medical consultant to King County Fire District #10 and spent many years as the Issaquah City Jail physician.

He is the proud father of two grown children, enjoys traveling, reading and participating in many different recreational activities.

Dr Greenblatt believes in a wellness-based approach to healthcare, focusing on his patient's education and understanding of how to achieve optimum health. He recognizes many options exist for achieving this success and will work with his patients to find the best tools for each individual.

“For too long I was frustrated that my patients weren’t getting what they truly wanted in healthcare due primarily to the many barriers which exist in the typical doctor’s office.” Since caring for patients in the unique CMA environment, Dr. G. states, “I can now address ALL the concerns and questions for each patient in a very comfortable setting as their healthcare advocate. It’s how healthcare should be.”
