Plan Ahead
Before you start choosing colors, fabrics and furniture, make sure you have a clear vision of what you want your home to become. Buy a stack of design magazines and tear out pages that you like. Collect a stack of these pages and go through and find what the common thread may be.
This will help you build a 'visual map' of your own unique style.
